New STEEL PROFILE® website launched
An historical pioneer, STEEL PROFILE® has championed outstanding steel architecture editorial since 1981 and is now available as an inspirational digital experience.
For over forty years STEEL PROFILE® magazine has chartered the use and popularity of steel as a dynamic element of Australian architecture. Not many architectural magazines can claim similar longevity or influence. Each issue has featured a carefully curated selection of inspiring projects that vary in terms of scale and design typology. Importantly, STEEL PROFILE® also celebrates people and their ideas: inspired architects, builders, engineers, fabricators, and manufacturers who have leveraged the intrinsic strength, practicality, and subtle elegance of steel to conceive and deliver classic, innovative, and modern architectural works.

The new STEEL PROFILE® website connects readers and industry colleagues to an exciting and beautifully curated digital experience. It features a collection of inspiring and innovating architectural and engineering projects featuring Australian steel, allowing understanding of their aesthetics, structure and ideologies through beautiful imagery and insightful, technically articulate narratives. The website also introduces an inspiration tool, Inspire Me, where users can filter images by segment, material, profile shape and colour. In addition, users can create an account to personalise content to match their interests, and curate and share personalised moodboards. Users’ favourite images, projects and STEEL PROFILE® editions can all be saved for future reference. A selection of global moodboards can also be perused for inspiration.
